Emmanuelle Quenum

Board Member

Emmanuelle Quenum is the Health Education Director with the Greene County Department of Public Health in Snow Hill, NC. In her role, she oversees the Community Health Needs Assessment, health department accreditation, community outreach, and health education programs such as the Minority Diabetes Prevention Program, fall prevention, tobacco prevention and awareness, and Weight-Wise, in addition to collaborating with community partners on various projects.

Emmanuelle is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist, Certified Results-Based Accountability Professional, National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, and Certified Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention Instructor. Emmanuelle co-teaches weekly Tai Chi classes with the Senior Center Director at the Greene County Senior Center.

Emmanuelle attended Maryland University of Integrative Health, where she received her Master of Arts in Health & Wellness Coaching with a concentration in Nutrition. She also received her Master of Public Health with a concentration in Health Education & Promotion from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from East Carolina University.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and growing fruits and vegetables in her container garden.
